Waterbedden zijn er in verschillende stabilisatieniveaus; van aangenaam nabewegend tot volledig stabiel. De mate van stabilisatie is een persoonlijke voorkeur. Deze is niet van invloed op de ondersteuning, die bepalend is voor uw lighouding. De stabilisatie van een waterbed wordt voornamelijk gedaan door stabilisatiematten. Ook bij een watermatras is het belangrijk rekening te houden met hygiëne, allergieën, stofmijt en vochtregulering. Vooral de afvoer van transpiratievocht is van belang, aangezien we gemiddeld een halve liter vocht per nacht verliezen. Een deel daarvan wordt door het dekbed opgenomen, een ander deel verdwijnt via de matras. Dit dagelijkse proces zorgt ervoor dat de matrassen er niet veel frisser op worden. Daarom is een goede vochtopnemende matrashoes (tijk) zo belangrijk. De tijk vangt lichaamsvocht en afvalstoffen op en ademt deze vervolgens weer uit. Ook aan degene die zwaar transpireren is gedacht, voor hen zijn speciale tijken met intelligente vezels een uitkomst. De vezels worden acht keer sneller verwerkt dan natuurlijke vezels. Afgezien van de Nederlandse gemeentelijke vervoerÂbedrijven -al volledige overheidsÂbedrijven trouwens-blijft er dan in Nederland nog maar Ă©Ă©n andere speler over. Maar in QBuzz heeft via NS de Nederlandse staat een zeker belang, ook als adviseur. NS zelf blijft trouwens met dochter Abellio (voorheen Nedrail) doorgaan met DĂĽsseldorf-Hamm. Veolia had eerder met Keolis willen fuseren, terwijl ook Arriva nog tot begin dit jaar in de expansie in het buitenland. Na twee middelgrote spoorconcessies in Engeland verwierf NS-Abellio de Londense stadsvervoerder van National Express, twee spoorconcessies in Duitsland en een Tsjechisch busbedrijf. Deutsche Bahn rijdt in Engeland al treindiensten met dochter Chiltern Railways, onder meer van Londen naar High Wycombe, en is verder eigenaar van de grootste Britse railvervoerder EWS. Maar ook gaat DB bijvoorbeeld spoorlijnen aanleggen in het Arabische emiraat Qatar. Omgekeerd worden in Duitsland staatsspoorbedrijven uit andere landen actief. Begin maart kochten de Deense staatsspoorwegen de helft van VIAS GmbH, dat regionale treindiensten in de omgeving van Frankfurt am Main rijdt.
